Microsoft Corp. announced that its next version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be available in the fall of 2013. In this post, we will cover the new pricing structure and a brief overview of the release's features - such as a new user interface, greater integration with social and collaboration tools, and more mobile support.
This release gives people the ability to access their information on a variety of devices;* introduces a new user experience that is fast and fluid, enabling people to access information that is relevant to their jobs; and delivers richer contextual information that helps people have deeper insights into customers and their needs. Microsoft Dynamics CRM also offers enhanced social collaboration capabilities, so users can connect with the right people, and the right resources, at the right time.
Pricing Structure
Compared to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 2011 ($44/month/license), this new tiered structure for CRM Online customers offers more freedom to choose and the ability to mix and match licenses. Customers are no longer forced to fit every user into the same license. Equivalent offerings between on- premises, online and hosted by partners (like Axonom) also make it easier for customers to compare and decide. Access through mobile applications is included at no extra license cost across all licenses.
Microsoft plans to offer the following competitively priced license options for its next release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online:
- Professional ($65*) For the core CRM users, who need the full capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics CRM including sales force automation as well as marketing and customer care.
- Basic ($30*) For sales, service and marketing users who need to manage accounts, contacts, leads, cases and access custom applications as well as for business analysts who require reporting capabilities.
- Essential ($15*) For light-weight users who need to access custom applications developed in house or by partners like Axonom.
