Axonom adds dimensional data grid functionality to its Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning module.
Minneapolis, MN- April 3, 2012 Axonom, a leading provider of high-tech industry Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solutions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, today announced it has added dimensional data grid functionality to its Powertrak Forecasting module, a significant component to its semiconductor industry solution.
The dimensional data grid functionality adds additional flexibility to Axonom’s Powertrak Forecasting module. Already equipped with in-line editable grids, the module gains the ability to present data dynamically over two related dimensions and to allow users to edit that data in-line. Users can also flip the axes of the grid at will; with one click of a button, columns display as rows and rows display as columns. The result is a fast, responsive, and intuitive interface for forecast data entry, all configurable through Powertrak Application Builder.
"Graphical user interface studies show it is easier for people to consume and work with data that is closely grouped on the page," said William Barrow, CTO at Axonom. "Studies also show that people move their eyes horizontally, across rows rather than down columns. As a result of this new functionality, we know that end users will be more productive."
The Powertrak Forecasting module is only one component of Axonom’s semiconductor solution. The module handles complex, multi-channel detailed revenue forecasting down to the individual representative, product SKU and territory. As a result, organizations are equipped with information and visibility for better planning, managing and forecasting.
In addition to Forecasting, Axonom’s complete end-to-end business solution for the semiconductor industry also includes tailored versions of its Quoting and Configuration, Service Management, Portals and Collaboration, and Design Win. These tools drive lead management, design registration, opportunity management, samples handling, workflow and approvals routing, distributor pricing agreements and comissions handling.
Results have shown that semiconductor companies see an increase in loyalty and revenue, and transactional margin protection because Powertrak connects the complex web of distributors, suppliers, and OEMs.
"Axonom continues to strengthen its industry-wide reputation for delivering market-leading business applications for semiconductor companies," said Scott Mangelson, CRM practice leader at Armanino Consulting. "Together, Armanino Consulting and Axonom have successfully deployed Powertrak into many of the world’s largest semiconductor companies to help automate their complex sales, procurement and manufacturing processes."
