Channel Web Network, December 18, 2007

Question 9. The release of Dynamics CRM 4.0 will have a bigger-than-expected impact on the SaaS market.

Microsoft To Slash CRM Hosting Subscription Fees For Channel Partners

Channel Web Network, October 23, 2007

Microsoft will cut by 40 percent the subscription licensing fees it charges channel partners that host its Dynamics CRM applications. The price cut, effective Jan. 1, 2008, will turn up the competitive heat against Salesforce.com and other suppliers of on-demand CRM apps.

Mike Belongie, Axonom's vice president of sales, sees Salesforce.com as the biggest competitor to Dynamics CRM, although he said the Microsoft product's pricing is already competitive. Sandhills Publishing's Loseke said he most frequently runs into Sage Software's Act! and SalesLogix. Pricing for Salesforce.com's on-demand CRM apps starts at $10 per user per month for a group edition and at $65 per user per month for "full featured" CRM apps.
