The dimensional data grid functionality adds additional flexibility to the Powertrak Sales and Product Forecasting module. Already equipped with in-line editable grids, the module gains the ability to present data dynamically over two related dimensions and to allow users to edit that data in-line.

In July, Axonom released Powertrak Product Configurator v10.1. In this release, Axonom added powerful and user-friendly configure, price, quote features such as Expression Builder, a new-look interface, plus newly defined guide and draft functions.

The inspiration for this post is a similarly titled blog on msdn from @devkeydet. I am going to provide a solution for the same scenario which uses the existing process (workflow) UI, but without any custom coding.

The concept of solutions was introduced in CRM 2011, for the express purpose of having an easy way to combine all the customizations in a packaged format. While this has greatly improved life for people who customize CRM on a daily basis, there are still issues around enabling robust source control for an unmanaged or managed solution.

This post will focus on all the new enhancements to the Activity Feed feature in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. The official build is not yet available, but the beta build was released May 10th.

After completing Microsoft CRM 2011’s setup to Claims Based Authentication and IFD you might see the following error when trying to configure CRM 2011 Outlook Clients. “Cannot connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM server because we cannot authenticate your credentials. Check your connection or contact your administrator for more help.”

The only way to add a navigation link in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 is to edit the xml to add a node. In Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, in addition to messing with the xml, the form ui can be used to modify the navigation pane. But if you want to enable the PassParams option, you will still need to export the solution, manually edit the customizations.xml file, zip it up and reimport.
